Plagiarism Check
To maintain the highest standards of academic integrity and ensure the publication of original scientific works, the Journal of Financial Intelligence and Emerging Technologies (JOFIET) subjects all submitted manuscripts to strict plagiarism screening.
Screening Workflow & Evaluation Outcomes
Depending on the similarity index result from Turnitin, manuscripts will automatically follow one of the strict administrative paths below:
✓ Accepted for Evaluation
Manuscripts that comply with this plagiarism threshold will proceed to the pre-review stage, where their novelty, usefulness, and contribution to science are assessed by the editorial board.
✕ Rejected / Non-Compliant
Manuscripts that do not meet the plagiarism requirements will be rejected. A detailed rejection note will be provided, outlining the reasons for non-compliance. Authors are encouraged to revise and resubmit only if the issues can be addressed effectively.
Note: Intentional manipulation of text to bypass plagiarism software detection (such as paraphrasing tools misuse or text spinning) is considered severe academic misconduct and will result in an immediate and permanent desk rejection.
